Title: Overheating at Low RPM
Post by: september2021 on August 06, 2021, 01:28:30 PM
My  '77 MGB is overheating at low speed/rpm. The water reservoir is full.  Can it be the thermostat? Any other possible issues?

I would look at the cooling system as this is a 44 year old car. First the radiator, then the thermostat, third the water pump, fourth the heater core and fifth the head gasket.

As a 62 year old i worked on them when they were new and since.
