1979 MGB - Where to Start?
« on: August 06, 2021, 01:09:22 PM »
My 1979 MGB was recently purchased and drivable but needs some TLC. I am trying to decide where to start. My buddy suggests a new wiring harness. That seems scary but it probably needs to be done.

Start with your safety system first. Make sure all your brakes are in perfect functioning order. Then your parking brake. Then tires. Then front steering/suspension.

Then check fluids-oil/transmission/rear differential/greased fittings.

Just checking all these items will give you a good starting point of what needs addressing. Enjoy!
